Nickelback has been successful for some time now. They got their start in 1995 as a rock band in Hanna, Alberta, Canada. The band consists of Chad Kroeger (guitar and vocals), Ryan Peake (guitar, keyboard, and backing vocals), Mike Kroeger (bass and vocals), and Daniel Adair (drums). The band is one of the best-known Canadian rock acts, having sold over 50 million records worldwide. Billboard ranked them as the top rock band of the decade and the seventh best-selling artist of the decade in 2009, with "How You Remind Me" being the best-selling rock song and the fourth best-selling song overall.
After signing with Roadrunner Records in 1999, the band finally found mainstream success with their 2002 single "How You Remind Me," which reached number one in both the United States and Canada. Silver Side Up, the album it was spawned from, went on to become a Canadian eight-time platinum success. Released in 2003, Nickelback's fourth studio album, The Long Road, featured five singles, the most successful of which was "Someday," which reached No. 1 in Canada and No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100. All the Right Reasons, the group's best-selling album to date, was released in 2005 and spawned three top-ten and five top-twenty singles on the Billboard Hot 100. This collection featured the singles "Photograph," "Far Away," and "Rockstar," the latter of which became their most successful UK offering. Nickelback released eight singles from their album Dark Horse (2008), with "Gotta Be Somebody" being a top ten hit in the United States. Here and Now, the seventh album, dominated the Canadian album charts in 2011. Since then, the band has released three more studio albums: No Fixed Address (2014), Feed the Machine (2017), and most recently, Get Rollin', its tenth studio album (2022).
There is no denying that their live shows consistently draw sold-out crowds and place them among the top rock acts in the business.
